Children are full of energy, new learning experiences and exploring ideas. Each child is a different and unique individual and needs to be treated separately. When it comes to learning, guiding and discipline they all need to be treated in their own special way. All children need to be given space and time to explore themselves. They need to be given acceptance and understanding to express their feelings and emotions, both positive and negative. All children need re-assurance, love and understanding. They need to be listened to, given the opportunity to be their own individual and know that it’s ok to make mistakes. Through our encouragement, praise and guidance, as well as the child’s play-based learning, the children will build trust and self esteem. We feel children learn most from various ways of play and exploration. We believe in helping the children to be successful problem solvers, by encouraging them to talk through the problem and work through it.
